WHEN TO VISIT?
This totally depends on what your dream African adventure entails. If seeing Victoria Falls at its fullest and most dramatic, the rainy summer season occurring between July and October is the time to visit Zambia. At this time of year the bush is lush and green with plentiful rain ensuring full waterholes hopefully surrounded by exciting wildlife to see on your game drives. September and October are the best times for water-based activities with warmer weather and spectacular sunsets. On the other hand, if you hope to immerse yourself Devil’s Pool and venture into the various National Parks and game reserves during the dry season from July to December is ideal with the pool typically open around August.
